About the Webinar:
As Ombuds we are always finding ways to best metabolize information that is shared with us by visitors to aid in understanding the whole picture of an organization and offering snapshots of that information to the organization for enhancement and improvement. Through the concept of a case management framework, this session will offer a space to think about data; how we can collect it, utilize it, and report it productively. Whether it is needed to best articulate the value of our Ombuds work to our organizations, convey trends or issues present within an organization, or more: we are always trying to find ways of getting the 'right' data. This webinar will focus on working to share practices and practical applications in data collection, data usage, and data reporting to aid attendees in determining how they can best align the concept of data with their current roles and organizational needs.

Takeaways:

As a result of participating in this webinar, attendees will be able to...

  • Understand how a case management lens can be applied to Ombuds work within their current role/office.
  • Identify data collection practices that can be implemented within their own organizations.
  • Generate data usage action plans to align collection practices with reporting measures and data reporting.
  • Employ best practices shared around data reporting related to trend analysis and recommendation development for organizations.
